and sharing data with aliens

We are living in perilous times. Will force be enough to encourage the Russian people to unseat Vlad? We sit and watch helplessly while the destruction continues. When nuclear powers fight a proxy war in Europe, things are getting real. We will be heading to 4c above the 1750 baseline in a heartbeat when the war is over. Ten years after we hit that benchmark, it’s lights out for civilization. I wonder if we can leave some computers and sensors behind to record how life does with the nuclear power station meltdowns. We could put a “smart” Mars rover on every continent to record data and beam it into space. Carl Sagan would approve. The central bankers can print some money to give Elon or Jeff to design and build the rovers. We can’t leave it to Governments because, as we have been told, governments are the problem, and only private corporations can build rovers right. Plus, shareholders must make money while civilization unravels. There will be many deckchairs in New Zealand and Northern Canada to rearrange, and rich people are good at doing things like that. I will have to google some scientific papers on this stuff; it should make for some interesting reading.
